Sadie celebrated her 6th birthday at school with her friends today! She was so excited to have all of the attention on her. They sang to her and ate cupcakes. Leah and mom were able to come celebrate with her. Leah just loves it at Sadie's school. Afterwards I helped the class do their math homework.

florida II
Our second part of our Florida trip we spent at my parents condo in Ft. Pierce. It is on the Atlantic side just south of Vero Beach. We were about two miles from the ocean.
The girls loved to swim in the pool all day and go to the park in the evenings. One day we spent the day at the beach. Leah loved the sand and Sadie met a friend and played in the waves.
My favorite thing we did in Florida was going to Florida's Oceanographic Center we got to pet and feed stingrays, the girls touch some sea urchins and star fish and we saw some sharks and sea turtles.

Brian and I got to realx, we got to go out to dinner alone, we both worked out in the gym at my parents condo, and we took my parents bikes for rides to the ocean. It was a great break from the kids. Thanks mom and dad:)

Swimming had to be their favorite thing to do in Florida.
Here is Leah petting the stingray's. Everytime one would come by she would try so hard to reach out to touch it, she got so soaked but loved every minute of it.
It took Sadie over an hour to decide if she wanted to pet one. She finally did it after i told her she could tell her teacher and her class that she pet and fed stingray's. 
Here is proof that Sadie did her homework and read almost everyday in Florida.

Wow what a great time we had in Florida. It was a trip that we all needed.
Our first stop was Disney World. We got to Florida on Saturday afternoon and headed right to our hotel. We stayed at the Caribbean Beach Resort and we loved it. It was such a beautiful hotel. Sandy beaches, hammocks to realx on, a great pool with waterslides and an awesome kiddie area with slides and a dumping bucket. Sadies favorite thing to do was to go down the waterslides. Leah just wanted to play in the sand.

workouts
I can get in at least one more workout before we leave for Florida. I have been taking boot camp and kickboxing at the gym i belong to. I have also been working out at home but its not the same hour long non-stop routine that I love and need.
Brian has been working out a lot lately too. Its nice that we are both trying to get healthy and look better at the same time. His blood pressure and cholesteral were slightly elevated so he wants to get that down and feel better too.

Valentine's
Sadie had a Valentine's party in her kindergarten class. Leah and I went to help out and enjoy the day with her. Leah loves it at Sadie's school. I go there every few weeks to help out and Leah has been coming with me and she never wants to leave. She loves to play in the pretend kitchen and fill all of the cups up with water in the small sink they have.
Sadie passed out her valentine's and then had centers where they got to sort and count candy hearts, make valentine's cards, measure how many hearts tall they are, and make heart characters. Then they had punch and rice krispie treats made by mom.
She had so much fun with all her her school friends!

fun weekend
Another fun weekend in February! We went to play with friends, baked a yummy Valentine's cake, and went to see Sesame Street Live.
The girls loved Sesame Street. It was at the Fox theatre and we sat in a suite. Sadie was all prepared and brought her Elmo and one for Leah (Leah could of cared less) And she danced him the whole time.

Bowling
We went bowling over the weekend with Brian's friends and their kids. Sadie wanted to hang out with the bigger kids while Leah wanted to bowl over and over again. They both loved it but Leah wanted more and more. Everytime she was done she said "I want to go again" and laughed!
