Last weekend the girls and I went with my parents to Spicer's Cider Mill. We had a great time!
The girls had fun playing in the corn box, climbing trees and seeing the animals. We got some cider, donuts and kettle corn. It was a beautiful day to be at the cider mill.

Leah's first day

Leah's first day of preschool was last Thursday. She had a great time playing in her new classroom. She got to listen to a story at circle time, she got to do a craft and she saw all of the great things she will do in preschool like playing in the kitchen, with puppets and with the sand table!

Open House

The girls were both excited for open house. Leah got to play in her classroom and meet some new friends and Sadie got to show mom and dad her big first grade room.

1st Day of 1st Grade

Sadie was so excited for her first day of school. She had her clothes all ready to go and she chose to have waffles and orange juice for breakfast. Her kindergarten teacher put her into a first/second split class. At first I was worried but I know she will be fine. She is great at making new friends. Here's to a great school year.

Labor Day Weekend

We decided to head up north for one last weekend away before school starts. We stayed with our family friends at their cabin near Crystal Lake. Friday night we meet up with our friends at Crystal Mtn. and the kids had a blast playing together.
Saturday we headed to Crystal Lake to waterski. The weather was not the greatest but it cleared up in the afternoon and we were able to waterski, wakeboard and even tube!
Before heading home on Sunday we headed up to the Sleeping Bear sand dunes and made the big climb! The girls had so much fun playing in the sand and running down the hill.

wedding

Last weekend we headed up to Traverse City for Brian's friend Chris's wedding. It was a beautiful wedding and a very fun reception. The dinner was at the t North Peak brewery and then we partied at Kilkenny's afterwards.

Camping

We went camping at Ludington State park last weekend. The girls had a good time playing at the beach, tubing down the river and just playing with friends they met at the campground.
