Birthday Party

Sadie chose to have her friend birthday party at the puppy store this year. She got to invite four friends from school. They played with the puppies, made stuffed animals, had pizza and cake.

April 5th

Sadie had a wonderful 7th birthday. Mommy took her to get her hair cut and ears pierced at Sweet and Sassy then we went to lunch at McDonald's with her Grandma and Aunt Michelle. That evening she chose to eat dinner at Coney Island. She got her favorite, pancakes with a ice cream sundae. After dinner her good friends and neighbors Drew and Evan came over for some cake and ice cream.

Sadie got to celebrate her birthday at school on their last day of school before spring break. They also had a green eggs and ham breakfast that day. It was to celebrate March is reading month and Dr. Seuss' birthday. Mommy made rice krispie treats with chocolate and sprinkles for her to share with the class.

Florida Fun

We are sad to be back from our trip to Florida. We did so many things and had a great time. Our first stop was in Tampa at Brian's cousin Don's house. We meet their new baby Pravah, swam in his pool, ate pizza and did a lot of laughing!

Our second stop in Florida was at Walt Disney World. We stayed at the Caribbean Beach Resort again this year because they have so many things to offer. The girls had a great time playing at the park and in the pool. They had a kiddie area for Leah but the most fun they had was going down the water slides. Leah was not afraid of the water at all.

We spent one day at the Magic Kingdom. Sadie was bummed that thunder mtn. was closed but i knew that she would love space mtn. and she did. The ride it was dark and super fast. She went on the ride with Brian first and then when she went again with me. I reached back during the ride to hold on to her and make sure she was safe.
Here she is with Space Mountain in the background.
Taking a break for some popsicles.
Here we are at the trading pin store in Downtown Disney. I prebought some pins on Ebay that the girls could trade with all of the employees of Disney. They had such a great time seeing what pins everyone had and getting the ones they loved.
Leah was addicted to pin trading. Everywhere she went she wanted to see what pins the workers had. She loves all of her pins.
During the day our resort had fun activities for the kids.

Leah's favorite dog, Pluto. She was so excited to meet him!
After two night at Disney we headed to my parents condo in Ft. Pierce. We also got to see their other grandma and grandpa who were also staying there too!
Here is Sadie in front of the sea shell store.

We finally got a family picture in front of my parents condo.
Sadie swimming with Grandpa.
At the ladybug park with Grandma and Grandpa Kutek.
At the farmer's market with Grandpa and Pudda Gierlack.

We spent one day at the beach and playing in the ocean. Sadie didn't want to go in the ocean. She was a little scared of the idea that sharks might be in the water. She went for a walk with daddy on the beach and after seeing the shark that a fisherman caught right from the shore she definitely did not want to go back in the water. They had fun jumping the waves and playing in the sand.

Valentine's Day

Valentine's Day was a big deal at school this year. Sadie's class was having a pancake breakfast for the kids and then they were passing out Valentines. Leah's party was the same day and her preschool is at the same school as Sadie's. It was great. I was able to run back and forth and be there for both of their parties. Leah got to decorate cookies, sort candy hearts and pass out Valentine's. Sadie said it was one of the funnest holidays at school so far!

ipod

This is what the girls have been addicted to lately!

sledding while you can...

We got some snow over the weekend so we went sledding twice on Sunday. The snow was melted by Tuesday morning.
It was so much fun. We went on the hills right out in the front of our sub. Leah did great this year. She was able to pull the sled up the hill on her own and go down all by herself!
